FORMATTING AND RESOLUTION

There  are many different formats that can be used to store films in these days from full HD to blue ray, normal terrestrial television, DVD, VHS and mini DV all have had their own place in time and all being a bit more special than the last and it all comes down to the quality of the footage you want to watch before the GD television and film we were all very happy to watch content on normal resolution television however as the quality progresses people get sued to the quality of footage they are watching and so cant then tolerate something that may even still be in black and white because it is not something that they are used to.

Resolution fits in with the format of what you are watching your content on as for instance HD resolution is 1080p however there are problems with having your resolution that high. For instance not everyone has the equipment that is capable of showing HD television with the fibrotic cables and so most televisions and computers are only standard 720p resolution and so this is the lowest that you can play on and so not everyone can view your content which is bad as then not as may people can see your product and so your market goes down and you lose business and publicity.

For instance YouTube usually give you an option of what resolution you want to view the video you are watching in because they know that not everyone has the capacity to watch it in HD and some people don’t even have the equipment to film and edit in  that high a resolution and so you get the same problems.
